DISTINCTIONS, APPOINTMENTS

Peter’s significant litigation experience covers a broad range of matters. He began his legal career as a student prosecutor for the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office in Boston, Massachusetts.  Following his admission to the bar as a Massachusetts Lawyer, he served as a judge advocate (JAG officer) in the U.S. Air Force, where he managed multiple offices, litigated a variety of cases, and was a legal advisor to commanders.  After completing his military service Peter returned to Massachusetts, where he practiced law with several distinguished firms prior to joining the Framme Law Firm, P.C.

Peter is an active scuba diver, and holds instructor ratings from several major international scuba-training agencies.  He has taught at the scuba program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is also a former vice-president of the New England Aquarium Dive Club, one of the largest scuba clubs in the country.  As an attorney, he has trained dive professionals on risk management issues.

Peter’s diverse clients have included individuals, businesses (including one of the largest insurance companies in the United States), and government agencies. He has successfully represented hundreds of clients, prosecuting or defending their interests in matters that include divorce, post-divorce and child support cases; domestic abuse prevention proceedings under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 209A; residential and commercial real estate disputes; landlord-tenant disputes; consumer claims under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 93A; business disputes; and criminal and motor vehicle-related charges. In addition, his broad knowledge relating to both real estate and business (including small businesses) has enabled him to perform a wide range of quality non-litigation transactional work for clients, including providing representation in connection with the drafting, negotiation and consummation of various contracts.

Peter has successfully argued numerous cases before juries, judges, magistrates, and administrative adjudicators.  He has also successfully resolved numerous matters for clients through out-of-court negotiations and alternative dispute resolution sessions, including mediation and arbitration. As an experienced Massachusetts Lawyer, he continually strives to perform the highest quality legal work for his clients, while providing them with a superior level of personalized, dedicated service.
